Securing Networks

Formations Securing Networks

OBJECTIF

The purpose of this training is to review the various attacks on network protocols and equipment. A demonstration and practice of the attacks will be made as well as the explanation of the countermeasures to be made. We will first study attacks targeting or using Layer 2 pro-tocols that take advantage of switch configuration problems. This will be followed by attacks targeting routers and VPN systems. Finally, we will focus on equipment to enhance the security of a computer network (Firewall, IDS / IPS, Proxy, etc.).

In particular, the objectives of the training are:

  • Understand the vulnerabilities
  • Deploy robust configurations and apply best practices
  • Protect users effectively
